# Is your site still up to date?

Enter your domain name. We fetch your homepage and look at nine points that customers and Google notice. You don't need to leave an email address.

## What we look at

- **Secure connection.** Does your site automatically send visitors to https?
- **Phone.** Does the site adapt to a small screen?

- **Title, description and main heading.** This is what Google shows and uses to work out what your page is about.
- **Up to date.** What is the most recent year on your homepage?

- **Technology.** Does the site use parts that are no longer maintained, such as Flash, frames or an old jQuery?
- **Business details.** Does the site provide its address and opening hours in a form Google can read?

- **Speed.** How quickly does the homepage respond?

The check only looks at your homepage. We keep the domain you enter and the result, without a name and without an IP address; that way we see which sites have been checked and can offer the business behind that site a preview. If you then enter your email address for a preview, we keep your request with the result. It is a first impression, not a full audit: it says nothing about design, text or photos.
