About MODEX

MODEX is the business of Taher Jerjissi. We build websites, online shops and custom software for businesses throughout the Netherlands.
Who is behind MODEX
I'm Taher Jerjissi. In 2022 I started the Assistant Accountant course (MBO level 4, Dutch vocational education) at Noorderpoort. After a few weeks I knew it wasn't for me and switched to Software Development (MBO level 4) at Noorderpoort, at the Bit Academy. There I started with the basics: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
In 2023, for an in-depth project, I went looking for frameworks and learned Next.js. That is where the technology comes from that I now use to build websites, web apps and online shops, for myself and for other businesses.
That same year I registered MODEX with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, at first to build and sell computers for gamers. That market was very competitive and growing was hard. As building software went better and better, I built MODEX further around that. I enjoy it much more: I set my own prices and I can really help business owners with their business.
I also work as a Migration Specialist at hosting company Cloud86: moving sites is my trade there. How we do that for your site is under Switching to MODEX. I also study Software Engineering (university of applied sciences) at NHL Stenden. Because I work and study during the day, I don't always answer straight away; but you always get a reply within 12 hours.
Happy to work in English or Dutch.

What MODEX does
Many businesses have a site that was made at some point and then left as it was. Their work is no less good for it, but the site no longer shows it. We make a new site with your own story, your own photos and your own words, so customers see straight away who you are.
We work with modern, fast technology without heavy plugins. That keeps your site secure, quick and easy to find, and it keeps the price low.
MODEX is based in Groningen and is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 89703685.
Why such sharp prices?
Cheaper, without looking cheap.
Built light
No heavy WordPress themes and plugins. Your site is faster, safer and cheaper to host.
A fixed way of working
We know exactly what a business site needs. No endless meetings, so fewer hours.
Show first
We would rather earn your trust with a sharp price and a free preview.
Seeing is believing. The preview is free.
Tell us the name of your business. Within 12 hours you have a link to your new site in your inbox. If you don't like it, you won't hear from us again.
