Questions

Frequently asked questions

When do I get the amount?

As soon as the business you referred has become a client and has paid the first invoice. We then transfer the amount to you within two weeks.

What do you need for the payment?

If you have a business, you send us an invoice. If you are a private individual, at payment we ask for your name, address, date of birth, BSN (Dutch citizen service number) and bank account number: the Dutch Tax Administration requires us to report amounts we pay to private individuals once a year. We only ask for those details when there is something to pay out, not through this form, and keep them only in our administration.

Do I have to pay tax on it?

For the Dutch Tax Administration the fee is income. If you are a private individual, you declare the amount yourself in your income tax return; we don't withhold anything.

Does every business count?

It has to be a new client: a business that was not yet a client of ours and that we had not approached ourselves. If we already know the business, we let you know straight away.

How many businesses can I refer?

As many as you like. You get the fee once for every new client.

Can I refer my own business?

No, the fee is for people who bring another business to us.

Does the business need to know?

Yes, let them know that we will be in touch and why. Then they know where our email comes from. We first make a free preview; the business is not committed to anything.

Does it also apply to custom software?

The fixed amounts apply to websites and online shops. If you refer someone for custom software, we agree an amount in advance.
