Email from MODEX
You got an email from us
With a preview of a new website for your business. Here you can read who we are, why you got that email and how to unsubscribe.
Who is MODEX?
MODEX is the business of Taher Jerjissi, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 89703685. We build websites, online shops and custom software for businesses throughout the Netherlands. The email you got was sent by Taher himself, from an address ending in @modexsoftware.nl.
Why did I get this email?
We look at websites of Dutch businesses. When we see a site that has not been updated for a long time or doesn't work well on a phone, we sometimes make a preview of what a new site could look like and send it. We only email a B.V. or N.V. (Dutch private or public limited company), at the email address shown on its own website. We don't call and don't send post.
What exactly is that preview?
A first draft of a new website, with the text from your own site. We use your own logo and photos where possible; where a photo was missing there is a sample photo. At the top it clearly says that it is a MODEX concept. The preview is on a separate address, cannot be found through Google and the link was only sent to you. We don't use it as advertising or as an example for others.
Does it cost anything?
No. The preview is free and you are not committed to anything. If you want to know what a new site costs, all prices are on the pricing page.
How often do you email?
Once, and if we hear nothing after about a week, one reminder. After that, no more. If you respond to neither, we close it a week after the reminder and take the preview offline.
I'm not interested. What should I do?
Reply to the email with “not interested”. We then delete your details and our email exchange, take the preview down and don't email you again. We only keep the address of your website, so we don't accidentally approach you again.
What details do you have about me?
Only business details that are on your own website, such as the business name, the town, the website address and the email address. If you view the preview, we count that visit without cookies and without storing your IP address. More about that is in the privacy statement.
A question or a complaint?
