How websites in the installation sector are doing
These are our own measurements, not estimates. We looked at the homepages of 1,028 companies in the installation sector.
- 7.5%is not made for phones: the visitor sees the desktop page shrunk down
- 32.8%takes longer than a second before the homepage arrives
- 56.4%runs on WordPress; those sites arrive after 1.1 seconds, the rest after 0.4
- 12.8%shows no year after 2023 on the homepage and so looks neglected

What an installer needs on their site
A customer with a breakdown wants to call straight away. A customer considering a heat pump or air conditioning wants to know whether you do that, in their region, and how to make an appointment.
- The phone number at the top. Clickable on a phone, with when you can be reached and whether you also come out for breakdowns.
- A separate page per service. Central heating boiler, heat pump, air conditioning, plumbing, electrics: each its own page. That way you can be found per service and the customer only reads what they are looking for.
- Your service area. The towns you cover, so a customer doesn't have to call to ask.
- Accreditations and certificates. If you have an accreditation or certificate that customers or insurers ask for, add it. Only what is true.
- Request maintenance. A short form for a service visit or a maintenance contract, that goes straight to you.

What does a website for an installation company cost?
A one-page site costs €249, up to five pages €449 and up to fifteen pages €795 (excl. VAT). Hosting and maintenance then cost €12 to €25 per month. If you want a separate page per service, you usually end up with the middle or the largest package.
Our installation company already has a site. Does everything start over?
No. We take the text and photos from your current site and show you a free preview within 12 hours. If you don't choose it, you pay nothing.
Can customers request an appointment or maintenance through the site?
Yes. A form for an appointment, quote or service visit is included and arrives in your own mailbox. An integration with your scheduling software is custom work; we look at that separately.
Why does speed matter so much for an installer?
Because your customer is often in a hurry and on a mobile connection. If your site loads slowly, they call the next company in the list. Our sites are built to load fast on a phone.
