Switching without anything going down
You already have a website with another builder and want a new one. We take care of the technical side: the domain, the DNS and going live. Your old site stays up until the new one works.
The preview first
We build a preview of your new site, with the text and photos from your current one. You don't have to cancel anything or supply anything yet.
Finishing the site
If you like it, you choose a package and we finish the site. Meanwhile your old site simply keeps running.
The settings of your domain
We make a list of all the settings that belong to your domain now, including those for your email. For that we need the login for your domain, or the name of the company that manages it.
Going live
We only change the pointer to the website. Everything else stays, so your email keeps working. The new site gets an SSL certificate and runs on your own domain name.
Only then cancel
Once site and email have worked well for a few days, you cancel the old plan.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to cancel with my current web builder first?
No, quite the opposite. Your old site simply stays up until the new one is ready and live. Only when site and email have worked well for a few days do you cancel the old plan. Do check your notice period in advance.
Will my email go down during the switch?
Not if it is done properly. During the switch only the settings that say where your website is change. We leave the settings for your email in place or carry them over one to one.
Does my domain name have to move too?
It doesn't have to. The domain can stay where it is registered; only the pointer to the website changes. If you also want to leave that company, you request a transfer code there and move the domain to a company of your choice. The domain stays in your name.
What if I don't know where my domain is or I have no login?
That happens a lot. We work out with you which company the domain runs through and what you can request there. If the domain is in your web builder's name, first ask them to put it in your own business's name.
Is my mailbox with the old company?
Then it disappears when you cancel there. You keep that plan for the email, or you move the mailbox: to an email provider, or to an email package with us. We move your email to us for free if your current mailbox supports IMAP (not from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace). We set up the settings on your domain correctly.
Do you take over my old site?
We build a new site, using the text, logo and photos from your current site as a starting point. Keep a copy of your photos in their original size yourself.
