Websites, by sector
A website for your construction company that shows your work
Anyone considering a renovation or new build first searches on their phone for who can do it and what they have already built. Below you can see how construction sites are doing now, what a good contractor's site shows and what we make for you.
How websites in construction and finishing are doing
These are our own measurements, not estimates. We looked at the homepages of 2,543 companies in construction and finishing.
- 10%is not made for phones: the visitor sees the desktop page shrunk down
- 31.1%takes longer than a second before the homepage arrives
- 57.1%runs on WordPress; those sites arrive after 1 seconds, the rest after 0.3
- 15.7%shows no year after 2023 on the homepage and so looks neglected
Phone view and year: 950 sites, September 2026 (research into construction and engineering websites). Speed and WordPress: 2,543 sites, October 2026 (research into speed and WordPress). We don't name companies, only totals.
What a contractor needs on their site
A homeowner or client wants to know within half a minute: does this company do the kind of work I'm looking for, does it work in my area, what does the result look like and how do I reach them.
- Projects with photos. A few photos per project, what it was and in which town. That convinces more than a list of services.
- Type of work and area at the top. New build, renovation, refurbishment or maintenance, and in which region. Then the wrong visitor drops off and the right one stays.
- A phone number you can tap. At the top of every page, clickable on a phone, with a button to request a quote.
- Quality marks and memberships. If you are a member of a trade association or have a quality mark, add it with the logo. Only what is true.
- A page for vacancies. Skilled workers search on their phones too. A separate page with what you offer and how to apply.
What we make for you
- A free preview first. Within 12 hours you see your construction company in a new design, with the project photos and text already on your site. You only pay once the site is finished and you want it.
- Built for phones. A client looks at your projects on their phone, often in the evening on the sofa. The pages load fast, even on a mobile connection.
- No WordPress and no plugins. So there is nothing to update between two jobs. Read when WordPress does and doesn't fit.
- Findable for your type of work and your region. Every site is set up for Google and readable for AI assistants; that comes with every package. More under SEO and AIO.
- A fixed price, known in advance. No hourly invoice afterwards. See the packages.
- Switching while the work goes on. Your current site stays online until the new one works and your email keeps running: how switching works.
Honest about examples
Under Work you find the sites we built for clients. There is no contractor or construction company among them yet, and we don't make up an example. So you don't have to take our word for it: you first see your own construction company as a preview and decide after that.
Also for installers and plumbers and metalworking companies and machine builders.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does a website for a contractor cost?
A one-page site costs €249, up to five pages €449 and up to fifteen pages €795 (excl. VAT). Hosting and maintenance then cost €12 to €25 per month. Most construction companies choose a site with a separate page for projects and one for services.
Our construction company already has a site. Do we have to supply everything again?
No. We build the free preview, within 12 hours, with the text and project photos from your current site. If you don't want it, it costs you nothing. You can add more project photos afterwards.
Can I add new projects myself?
With hosting and maintenance you send us the photos and a few lines of text and we put the project on the site; changes are then included in the monthly fee. That keeps the site fast and tidy.
Will my company be found in my own region?
That is what we build the site around: your area and type of work are in the titles and text, and the site has the details Google uses for local results. Nobody can promise a top position; a site that is technically right, we can.
Curious what your construction company could look like? The preview is free.
Tell us the name of your business. Within 12 hours you have a link to your new site in your inbox. If you don't like it, you won't hear from us again.
